Nothing quite beats the feeling of settling beside the crackling logs of a toasty fireside after a day out in Cornwall.
As the light fades outside, bask in the orange glow of the fireside and sink into the evening. Curled up with a mug of hot chocolate or a glass of red in hand, of course. After winter walks and wild swims, the fireside is the place to be.
Autumn and winter holidays in Cornwall are a feast for the senses. Woodland leaves turn to shades of ochre or saffron. Walks are set to a soundtrack of crunching leaves. When the time comes to peel off bobble hats and wellies and settle down for the evening, watching the flickering of flames with the comforting warmth of a log fire can be the perfect end to a day on holiday.
