Well equipped accommodation, comfortable bed and lovely views of the sea from the conservatory. 15 minute walk into Falmouth with plenty of places to eat and shop. Good communication from hosts.

Husband and I were delighted with Coastguards. Comfortable, well appointed, and with fabulous views, it was the perfect location for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. At the time of our visit, I was sadly unable to do as much walking as I’d hoped, however, I’m hoping to rectify this by returning in the not too distant future. With its easy access to the local beaches, and Falmouth town just a short stroll away, Coastguards is one of the nicest places we have stayed in.

Coastguard Cottage in Falmouth was exactly as advertised on the Cornish Cottages website. The accommodation was clean, bright and modern with all mod cons, including added extra of night sensor lights.
The view from the cottage was outstanding we sent most of our free time sitting in the sun lounge watching tankers, fishing and sail boats along with canoes and swimmers, make sure you take with you binoculars or telescope, although their is one pair in the accommodation as a party of four we needed more.
Cornish Cottages as the letting agent were very professional, friendly and helpful
in all aspects of our booking, I would go as far to say that they were the best we have ever dealt with.
We had several conversations with the owners Hilary and David who were most helpful in advising of best places to see and do around Falmouth and Cornwall.

Lovely location, with wonderful views. Very well appointed, equipped and spotlessly clean. We loved the mid century vibe.

We love Coastguards. It’s like our second home. The view of the sea from the large front window is spectacular and the comfy chairs are perfect for curling up with a good book. The apartment itself has everything you need, at a reasonable price and is within walking distance of beaches, boat trips and town.

Really lovely place to stay. Would have been helpful to have instructions for the electrical equipment.

Plenty of space and all facilities .TV Sitting out space at front and back of property so you could catch the sun all day.And if it rains ( which it didn't) there was a lovely sun room.

As a former coastguard lookout station this property provides outstanding views, both out to sea and along the coast. At the same time it is ideally located within easy walking distance of the centre of Falmouth and the town's excellent beaches. The property was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with Cornish artwork, and it enjoys all the facilities and modern conveniences you would expect. The generous provision of abundant of parking spaces right outside the accommodation was a big plus., and for those who don't wish to carry their luggage up steps, it is possible to drive to the door to unload. It was a delight to meet the owners of Coastguards, and those of the other adjacent properties, who were all equally warm and welcoming. I can honestly say this is the best self-catering accommodation my family has ever enjoyed. In every respect it was perfect!

Coastguards is in a fantastic location with stunning sea views and easy access to all amenities. The property was comfortable and very well equipped. There was a slight issue with the washbasin in the bathroom draining very slowly, but everything else worked well. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return to this property.

Property is looking a bit dated with old furniture & fittings, would appreciate a facelift c/w new suite, TV & rugs throughout.

We do agree that due to the natural fibres of rugs they are in need of an update. They have been removed for the time being. My family and I stayed at The Coastguards for a week earlier this year, and all we can say is just - WOW!! From the moment we arrived and saw the view from the holiday apartment, we already didn't want to leave. We didn't watch TV once whilst we were away, instead we spent our evenings staring out to sea with a drink in hand, watching the world go by. Such a relaxing place, the artwork on the walls are beautiful, some very interesting books to look through on the bookshelf too! The local area is fabulous, we all said we would quite happily relocate to Falmouth (and our current home is over 7 hours away!). It's just a short walk to visit the castle, a sandy beach, rock pools, maritime museum, shops & restaurants. If you want to drive further afield, there's so many various attractions and sightseeing opportunities nearby - but you really don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want, so much right on your doorstep. Coastguard's location is so peaceful, we will certainly be returning again and again from now on! Thank you.
