Location and Surrounding Area

Foodies will not be disappointed with the host of eateries at their fingertips. From divine fish suppers served with a seaview at Hooked on the Rocks, and sweet cream teas with fresh strawberries at Dolly’s Tea Room, to seasonal, creative menus presented with flair at distinguished Restaurant Mine.

Clamber onto your feet with a brave wobble and stand tall above the water as you gaze back towards the shoreline and embrace a new way to explore the Cornish coast. For SUP fanatics, this has to be one of the best places to stay for paddleboarding in Cornwall. Take a 2-hour kayak adventure to discover hidden caves, hidden reefs and historic shipwrecks. Stroll to Swanpool Beach for their famous clotted cream ice creams and on to Maenporth, a sandy cove perfect for swimming.

Port Navas Creek in the Summer behind Pedn Billy Boathouse

The Helford River remains one of Cornwall’s unspoilt corners and has something special for everyone, whether you’re seeking active days exploring the creeks or enjoying the calmer pace of life within its subtropical gardens and collection of hidden coves.

Further afield, the rugged Lizard coastline awaits and the north coast surf beckons to be ridden. Crabbing in St Mawes, wildlife watching on sea safaris and evening beach barbecues will provide families and friends with memories they will cherish forever.
