Built into the quayside in the heart of the much-loved Packet Quays development in Falmouth, Janes Court 6 overlooks the harbour blissfully. At high tide the water laps against stone and the view of the water changes as the day unfolds, with each passing moment revealing something new and exciting to behold.
Spread out on the patio with your morning coffee and sit back and take in the sunrise over the harbour. Watch how the activity slowly builds below on the water, along with your excitement for the day ahead. And look no further for inspiration as the St Mawes ferry chugs into the pier, or a sailing boat tacks across the river.
After a slow, sumptuous breakfast, head up the stone stairs, through an opeway, and out onto the Old High Street. From here you can explore all of Falmouth’s many delights with ease. The old cobbled streets are like invitations waiting to be accepted, and you’ll catch glimpses of the harbour between old buildings as you go.
Laid out over two floors, Janes court 6 has an open plan living and dining area, with large patio doors leading out to a stone balcony. Comfortably appointed, the double bedroom faces out towards a stone courtyard while the twin bedroom enjoys spectacular harbour views.
As you drift up to bed and off to sleep, allow the sound of the waves gently hugging the stone below to lull you into dreams of the waterside adventures to come.

From Janes Court 6, the best of Falmouth is right before you. Park your car when you arrive and continue your Cornish escape on foot. Head down the hill towards The Prince of Wales pier and hop aboard a ferry heading up the River Fal to Truro, or across the harbour to beautiful St Mawes.
Browse the unique shops in the Old High Street and feast on Cornish produce in award-winning restaurants located just a short walk away. Or even better, time your visit with one of Falmouth’s many celebrations throughout the year, such as Falmouth Week or the International Sea Shanty Festival, as Janes Court 6 is the ideal place to stay to enjoy the buzz of life on the ocean as it resonates over the harbour.
You’re never far from a beach in Cornwall, and Falmouth has some of the best. Pack your swimming costume and make the most of the sea. After all, life just feels better with sand in your toes and salt in your hair. To enjoy some of the best views, though, we recommend taking time to head off the beaten track.
Stride out on the Southwest Coast Path from Falmouth to Helford Passage, passing rolling fields and subtropical gardens and marvelling at the ocean vista as you go. Then, at the path’s end, a warm welcome awaits at Ferryboat Inn – the perfect spot to rest with a local ale or a refreshing G&T before tackling the return journey home.

This is the second time in Janes Court 6, I has been updated beautifully since our last visit, my wife was very impressed.
Unfortunately the visit was marred by small problems, The heating was set very low and on arrival it was very cold (first week in October), plus when the heating was set correctly, several radiators did not work. The dishwasher soap dispenser was faulty, the detergent just fell out.
I had no problem with the beds we used but my wife who suffers from fibromyalgia found her bed much to firm.

Thank you for your review—lovely to hear you’ve returned to Jane’s Court 6, and we’re thrilled that you both enjoyed the updates since your last visit! We’re so sorry about these issues you encountered during your stay. We were glad to assist with adjusting the heating for you. The late summer/autumn weather can be quite variable. Thank you for letting us know about the dishwasher not holding the washing capsule too, so that we were able to pass this information to our housekeeper.
We understand how important a good night’s sleep is, so if you decide to return, please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope we can welcome you both back soon! Best wishes, Sarah and the team at CHC.

This is an excellent holiday rental.
The location right on the water at the north end of Falmouth is both quiet and relaxing and only minutes from the high street with a selection of great restaurants.
The house is furnished and equipped to a high standard and is very comfortable. The place was immaculately clean on arrival and towels are provided (contrary to info in the booking app).
The only points to be aware of are: (i) the on-site parking is not suitable for large cars, and (ii) the quick access to the high street is via a long flight of steep steps, but you can also walk out via the access road.

It was an excellent property. Just one Idea .As there is an unusual step from the bathroom on to the landing ,we moved a low wattage lamp on to the landing. It would be a good idea if there was a low plug in light on the landing that could be left on at night. Mainly for older folks who may use the bathroom at night.
Response
Thank you for your wonderful review and for sharing your valuable suggestion. We're thrilled to hear that you found our property excellent and appreciate your feedback. Your idea of having a low plug-in light on the landing is brilliant and considerate, especially for our older guests. We always strive to make our accommodations as comfortable as possible, and your input is truly valuable in achieving that goal. We'll certainly take your suggestion into account and look into implementing this improvement. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back soon. Sending best wishes from the team at Cornish Holiday Cottages.

Janes Court 6 is a comfortable and well equipped apartment and a perfect base for a family stay in Falmouth.
There is a modern and light kitchen with every utensil you could think of! We ate out every day but if you wanted to eat at the apartment then you would have everything you need.
There is a large open plan living area with a fantastic balcony - great for a coffee in the morning! The bedrooms are both good sizes and there is ample space to hang clothes. The large landing was a lovely surprise too, made it feel even more spacious.
The apartment for the most part was clean, I had to wipe down some surfaces before use but that was no bother. There are signs that it is a little tired in places but it is all still perfectly functional. The bathroom could do with a refresh and even though the showerhead looked new, it is mounted so low! Even at 5ft6, it was mounted too low for me!
Everything considered, we are already discussing going back as with the location and parking it really made the apartment so accessible to everything, which is what you want during a holiday.

We work hard to keep standards high but if an area does fall short then please do call us during your stay so we can rectify it for you. We are here on hand, 24/7 to attend to any issues, no matter how small. Kind regards from all of us at Cornish Holiday Cottages.

Perfect location, clean property, clearly had money spent on the kitchen. Lovely views of the harbour from the balcony. Only things I would recommend are that the bathrooms could do with updating,

We absolutely love this place and have stayed there 3 times already and intend on going again as soon as possible. The only reason I have not allocated 5 stars is because the double bed is not as comfy as other properties we have stayed at and seems to be smaller than a standard double possibly? However, the location is perfect and very quiet but with easy access to the town via steps. The unique selling point is the views from the balcony and overlooking the harbour - simply breathtaking.

We adore this property as it has a stunning balcony right on the edge of Falmouth Harbour. It is also extremely comfortable and clean with every amenity we could ask for. It even has a garage which takes our fairly large car with ease, greatly appreciated.

It is a great location and spacious for two people
Overall it was fine and suited our purpose.
It was however a little dated and would be superb if the pine ceiling in the lounge which made the room dark and the pine everywhere else on wardrobe doors etc was all painted white and the kitchen and bathroom updated.
The toilet seat would not stay up and was EXTREMELY annoying.
We found the garage parking very tight and we took the smaller car because of this.
Response
We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed the beautiful location of Janes Court 6. I will forward your comments regarding painting and refurbishment to the owner.
We hope the parking dimensions we provided when you made your booking were helpful and we really hope you will be back to stay again soon.

The absolutely best thing about Janes Court 6 is the view!! STUNNING. You are right on the water and the view is unobstructed. A comfy and quirky apartment, the only thing that lets Janes Court 6 down is the fact that it needs modernisation. During your stay you gradually find things that have broken or are old and just need some TLC. I feel like the owners need to give Janes Court 6 the refurbishment it deserves, it is such a lovely apartment with bags of potential.
