  Our tenth year of staying at Overdene so obviously we have nothing but good praise! If you want mod cons & flashy decor, then Overdene isn't for you but what it does offer is comfortability, warmth, great location and an enclosed & very safe garden for the most important member of our family, golden retriever, Theo! Overdene is fully equipped with with all kitchen utensils and the conservatory is a fantastic room to relax in as in fact is the entire property. I'd also like to point out that on arrival, it is absolutely spotless & has really become our home from home! While Overdene remains available, we wouldn't look anywhere else.

  Next year will be our tenth year of staying at Overdene so I probably don't need to add anything else - but I will! Spotless on arrival complete with usual tea tray including lovely Cornish biscuits. The cottage really has everything you need for a fantastic stay; comfort, warmth, great location, ease of booking, professionalism and familiarity of the team, home comforts, all kitchen utensils and extras you could possibly need and most importantly a secure garden for the most important member of our family - THEO!

  Overdene, is so lovely, we really enjoyed our time here. The bungalow is very well equipped with everyhting you could think of. The cornish biscuits were a lovely bonus. There is a very nice pub, just up the road, walkable distance. We had a couple of evening meals there which were very good and the Sunday lunch was fabulous. Everyone was very friendly. Being able to take our dogs was so reassuring and we could relax and enjoy our holiday together with all the family. The garden is a nice size and being able to sit out on the decking area was nice. The conservatory made dining for breakfast and evening meals really beautiful looking out over the garden and we saw baby rabbits, along with other birds. A paradise. Overdene is near to the beautiful Helford Passage area, which is a must see. Trebah gardens are glorious too. We will be back for sure!

  The house was very clean and tidy with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The only downside was the 3 small dogs that were in the neighbouring house. They barked and yapped a lot and the owner either didn’t notice or seem to be bothered by it. It made sitting out in our garden not very pleasant - to the point that we didn’t bother in the end. They could still be heard in the house too - even as early as 6.30am on a couple of days.

  Overdene is homely, comfy, warm, has everything required for a great and relaxing week away and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. This was our 12th stay and it really is home from home for us. Next stay already booked

  Such a comfortable homely property. Great views from the conservatory which is lovely and sunny. Secure garden for grand child and for dogs. Great local pub with excellent food.

  Lovely spacious bungalow. Absolutely spotless on arrival and smelt amazing! Lovely to have fresh milk, tea, coffee and biscuits left for us. Overdene has everything you need and the best equipped kitchen ever … even found a thermos for a cold beach picnic! Lots of space for 4 adults and 2 dogs, lovely enclosed garden. Great to be able to walk round the fields straight to Maenporth beach and the coast path. We had lots of Cornish rain (it was expected!) but Overdene was so warm and comfortable to come back to. Thankyou!

  Overdene is very traditional but very comfortable and clean. There is a large secure garden which is perfect when you have dogs on their holidays too! The location is excellent, very close to Falmouth but still very rural. We were there in March and the new double glazing is great so it was very cosy. There are many places to visit and beautiful beaches. We arrive back after a day on the beach and can relax in a lovely home.

  Overdene is very traditional and although not in a modern style it has so much to offer. Spotlessly clean and the conservatory leading to the decking is so practical and give onto the garden with lovely rural views and yes, you can see the sea. As the owners of 2 large dogs the large and totally safe garden is so important. Lots of properties have more modern interiors but don’t have a garden , just a patio or courtyard.
