Seahorses – A Coastal Sanctuary by the Sea
*More imagery of the outside spaces, top deck, view, fourth bedroom, ensuite, pool room and ensuite to follow in the early spring*
Seahorses is a serene retreat where the rhythm of the sea becomes your daily soundtrack. A haven for dreamers, explorers, and escapists alike, this stylish seaside home whispers of lazy mornings, windswept adventures, and twilight skies aglow with starlight.
With breathtaking sea views to Falmouth, the Roseland and St Mawes, Seahorses, a detached house set in a large garden with a swimming pool and hot tub, is a fusion of incredible architectural design and utterly gorgeous coastal vibes. Houses do not get much better than this!
Blending effortless comfort with contemporary design, Seahorses is as charming as it is inviting. Light floods into the open-plan living area, where natural textures and soothing tones mirror the coastline just beyond. This is a space where mornings begin with soft rays of sunshine and coffee in hand, and evenings are reserved for unwinding in the gentle glow of lamplight, lost in conversation or the pages of a good book.
A well-appointed kitchen offers all you need for preparing lazy breakfasts or fresh seafood suppers. Spacious, calming bedrooms cocoon guests in comfort, with comfortable beds ensuring restful nights, while outside, the various balconies invite you to soak in the tranquillity, perhaps with a glass of wine as the sun dips below the horizon.
Nestled in the heart of South Cornwall, Maenporth feels like a secret well-kept. Pad down the steps onto the southwest coast path to discover hidden coves and dramatic cliffside views. The nearby harbour town of Falmouth bustles with life all year round, thanks in part to the university and thriving marine industry. Sip freshly brewed coffee as fishing boats bob in the marina, explore the art-lined streets, or dine on fresh-caught seafood at one of its acclaimed eateries.
Just one and a half miles away, enchanting gardens such as Trebah and Glendurgan await, both with great cafes and interesting histories. Cultural landmarks including the iconic Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Tate St Ives are within an hour’s drive away. Days here are yours to design—wander at will, or simply retreat and revel in the art of doing very little.
Seahorses is more than a holiday home—it’s a place to reconnect with nature, with loved ones, and with yourself. Whether you’re a couple seeking quiet romance, a family yearning for seaside adventures, or a group of friends in pursuit of coastal charm, Seahorses delivers an experience you’ll long remember.
Let the wild beauty of Cornwall embrace you—and Seahorses captivate you.
