Seventh Heaven

Set above the historic high street, Seventh Heaven’s tucked-away setting is one of peace and provides a tranquil haven where up to four guests can happily rest, after adventurous days in atmospheric and charming Cornwall.

The property is awash with character and rich in vistas of the changing Cornish landscape. With individual identities, each room is a joy to discover in this historic, former school building.

The uplifting interiors blend original features with modern flourishes and the open-plan, living area situated on the first floor, creates a wonderful space to come together. Its vaulted ceiling, large windows and quirky decor provide an airy atmosphere and will ignite the imagination.

The handsome kitchen is a bold statement of black units and silver worktops and is equipped with everything you could possibly need to rustle up meals. Also within the open-plan first floor lies the raised dining table, perfectly positioned for laid-back meals and wonderful sea views. Here lazy mornings are encouraged. Enjoy a morning coffee overlooking Falmouth’s harbour and ease into the day, before bundling up your things and heading outside to discover what’s on your doorstep.

When you are ready to return home, cosy evenings spent curled up on the sofas with a glass of red to hand and a box of chocolates to share await.

There are two double bedrooms on the ground floor at Seventh Heaven. The stylish and spacious main bedroom comes complete with an en suite shower room, wooden floorboards and a sumptuous double bed for long lie ins. Nextdoor is a second double bedroom (with a king size bed) which is equally lovely and decorated with abstract artwork. We love the connecting, glass wall that stretches along both bedrooms and lets light spill through from the window-lit corridor beyond.

Located in the heart of pretty Falmouth, this unique retreat is just a stone’s throw from local’s favourite The Sea View Inn pub, and a jaunt down Lawn Steps where you meet the main high street, which is overflowing with independent shops, art galleries, cafes and delicious restaurants. You will be left spoilt for choice when it comes to local ways to fill your days.

Pop in the car and you have the whole of south Cornwall to explore, with its wild and beautiful coastline, quaint fishing villages and stunning sub-tropical gardens. For a dose of wilderness, the untamed landscape of the north coast can be reached in forty minutes and for those seeking serenity, the still waters of the Helford River lie a fifteen-minute drive from your door.
