Summary
If you have a desire for sweeping sea views, spacious and stylish interiors, outdoor space and sumptuous furnishings, Trevarrick House is for you.
Light, bright, large and luxurious, a wonderful welcome awaits through the double wooden gates and baby blue front door. Inside expect sunlit spaces for entertaining, contemporary comforts, stunning bedrooms and a soft, coastal palette that exudes peace and calm, while emulating the magic of its seaside setting.
The fabulous kitchen is equipped with everything you need to throw flamboyant dinner parties and is set on the first floor alongside the spacious living room. In front of the kitchen lies a large, long dining table to seat ten. During the hazy days of summer, throw open the double doors and spill out onto the sun-soaked, sea-view terrace, perfect for al fresco meals and long breakfasts.
Wander through to the airy, spacious living room, which has breath-taking views over the bustling harbour and across to St Mawes’ Castle. Take a peak through the telescope and spy on yachts in the harbour as they sail from A to B, or sink into the comfortable sofas with a holiday read.
With seaside opulence and an enviable position, this handsome homestay is the perfect answer for those wishing to wake up to the call of the sea. There are five pretty bedrooms to choose from. The large and light-filled main bedroom is located on the ground floor with a sumptuous Super-king sized bed, perfect for lazy lie-ins, and views of the water through double glass doors which can be opened to tempt in the gentle sea breeze. Two further oh-so-romantic double bedrooms are decorated with comfort in mind and have a calming ambience.
There are two twin bedrooms on the ground floor great for adults and little ones alike, and are close to the lower ground snug and playroom. Here downstairs, the ping pong table and comfortable sofas settled around a television provide an extra way to add play to your holiday and a hidden-away space for the children to escape to while the adults catch up upstairs.
Outside in the walled garden, bordered in summer by tall agapanthus and rambling pink roses, the wooden ten-seat dining table with festoon lighting will set the scene for evening soirees and family garden parties.
With the sheltered waters of the Fal Estuary close by this is the perfect abode for paddle-board enthusiasts that want to explore the calm creeks and the neighbouring town of Flushing. Wake up with the sun and launch from Greenbank slip (just below the house) to glide across the silky waterway and dine on a breakfast of glazed spider crab omelette or a lunch of seasonal small plates at the Harbourside House Restaurant.
This impressive holiday home with its stunning sea views, plenty of space for entertaining and neutral interiors brought to life with colourful artwork, offers guests a grand getaway close to the coast and moments from character-rich Falmouth town. Step into the stylish and blissful world of Trevarrick House and kick back, relax and give yourself the break you deserve.
