Maenporth Beach
A sandy cove perfect for swimming. Arrive early on a sunny day and spend the whole day beside the waves. A lovely cafe for lunch (or ice-cream!) and public toilets make this a favourite for families.
Just a couple of miles outside of Falmouth, this delightful and family-friendly beach. We love this beach and think that this is the perfect spot for families, with a lovely beach cafe and rock pools to either side of a gentle water line. A car-park right on the beach makes it ideal for launching kayaks and paddleboards, and along the coast, there are some secret coves to paddle to.
Rural and tucked away, Maenporth feels like a total escape. Children will love playing on the rocks at low tide and running along the stretch of sand. There are public conveniences, cafe, and even a fine dining restaurant across the road.
