Located on the famous Lizard Peninsula coastal walk with spectacular views, owners Garry and Helen offer a warm and traditional Cornish welcome from 300-year-old Cadgwith Cove Inn. Unspoilt since the cove’s old smuggling day, the Inn remains atmospheric and rich in seafaring history. Lunch and dinner is served with a range of home-cooked food, locally sourced with seafood caught by their own Cadgwith fishermen and served to the table the same day.
Simply furnished front rooms warmed with log fires and walls populated by nautical memorabilia, this friendly pub is cosy, welcoming and hosts Tuesday folk nights and Friday sea shanties. The front terrace overlooks the fishermen’s sheds and offers the perfect place to watch Cornish fishing village life pass by. They are dog friendly but due to the age of the building and its location within the Cove, the Inn does not have disabled access or suitability for guests with walking difficulties.
Changing guest ales, Sharps, Skinners, and Atlantic are all on tap and you can expect pub menu items such as breaded chicken fillets, crab pate, and king prawns in garlic butter, Sunday roasts, and lobster when it is in season. Food service is all day during the summer season and 5 – 8:30 pm during the winter months.
