Punchbowl and Ladle

The Punchbowl and Ladle is a vibrant, yet cosy pub nestled amongst the beautiful woodlands of Feock on the outskirts of Truro. It’s four minutes away from King Harry Ferry and eight minutes from Truro, making this easy to reach from wherever you are based. 

With a rich history dating back to the 15th century, The Punchbowl and Ladle has played a key part in the stories of travellers, mariners and locals – both old and new. If the old walls could talk they would tell tales of being used by Cornish smugglers to store their contraband, and from passing travellers from the nearby River Fal, who sought safe harbour for the night.

The pub has recently undergone a refurbishment which has transformed it into a bright, vibrant and modern space decorated with traditional, honest decor, preserving the original charm of the building and its history. It boasts a large, airy dining space and bar area, outdoor terrace, private dining room and games room.
