Tucked away above the grand entrance of The Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society, is where lovers of Scandinavian design, good coffee, A-class cocktails, and fabulous food will find their home. 

Translating to sunshine in Norwegian, Solkinn’s light-filled space and large sash windows, that face out above Falmouth’s busy bunting-clad highstreet, certainly lives up to its name. 

With such an inviting atmosphere, great culture of service and considered menu of food and drink, Solskinn embodies everything that’s great about its sister company of WeSup, and Falmouth town; it’s fun, it’s of-the-moment and it exemplifies Cornish collaboration at its finest. 

The two open rooms shine with Scandinavian decor. Populated by plants, contemporary Cornish-themed artwork and Tom Raffielf lighting – it’s the perfect place from which to sip a cocktail or three. Here you can expect to be served classics such as cosmopolitans, margaritas and negronis, and delivered crowd-pleasing dishes such vibrant salad bowls, roasted lentil and squash soup, and Eggs-Avo toast.
