Founded in 1958 Port Navas Yacht Club is nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Port Navas, set on the beautiful Helford River. Surrounded by still waters and ancient trees, this magical backdrop is the perfect setting from which visitors can enjoy the delicious food, drink and atmosphere at the bar and restaurant, hire out kayaks or boats for days on the water, and make use of the visitor moorings.
The upper quay, built to ship granite from local quarries, has for many years been host to the privately-owned Club. Visiting boats are welcome, and although tidal, there is plenty of depth for shallow draft boats during the four hours on either side of high water.
Facilities at Port Navas Yacht Club include a bar, restaurant, boat and kayak hire, visitors berths, fresh water, toilets, shower and slipway.
Hosts Nigel Logan and Mike Maguire will take you under their wing, but booking ahead is advised for the eatery as the venue is somewhat bijou with just two tables! Dogs and children are welcome. For boat moorings and berths at Port Navas Yacht Club call Tom on 01326 340525
